ISORAD takes pride in being the pioneering and leading company in Israel in the field of radiopharmaceuticals.
ISORAD’s research and radiopharmaceutical production division in Israel was established more than six decades ago at Soreq Nuclear Research Center, and was the only such facility of its kind in Israel until the end of the twentieth century.
ISORAD’s radiopharmaceutical division remains the largest facility in Israel serving this domain. On a daily basis, per demand, the division is the primary provider of radiopharmaceutical products for both medical imaging and medical therapeutics to all hospitals and medical institutions across Israel, from Beer Sheba in the south to Nahariya in the north. The division also collaborates with marketing companies supplying radiopharmaceutical products to international customers.
At ISORAD we focus on our research efforts in collaboration with medical startup companies and business partners, including researchers and nuclear physicists from Soreq Nuclear Research Center, which houses a unique linear accelerator. Together, we strive to develop and manufacture innovative radioisotopes for imaging, therapy and innovative medical treatments.

ISORAD radio pharmacy and production plant operates under strict international quality and regulatory protocols, controlled and monitored by the Israel Ministry of Health. These facilities are also supervised by the Israel Ministry of Environmental Protection and meet strict safety standards. All production and quality control processes are carried out in accordance with the latest applicable procedures (Procedure 135 and Annex 1)
All our pharmacists are certified and licensed through the Nuclear Pharmacy Certificate program at Purdue University, Indiana, USA.

The SARAF facility generates either a continuous wave (CW) or pulse nuclear particle beam with controlled variable acceleration energy (5-40 MeV) and controlled variable high current flux (0.04-5 mA) with source light ion (proton/deuteron), utilizing an RF superconducting linear accelerator (LINAC). It directs this beam at various customized targets for research activities and could be used for the possible production of medical isotopes. A secondary neutron beam may be able to be used for innovative direct medical treatments.
The SARAF facility is part of the research activities at Soreq Nuclear Research Center in Yavne. Isorad’s radiopharmaceutical facility, which works in close collaboration with nuclear physicists and chemists from the Center, produces current commonly used medical isotopes, as well as new, innovative medical isotopes for research and upscale volume production.
