A fiber Bragg grating FBG) is an optical reflector that is used for many applications, from temperature and strain sensing to reflectors in fiber lasers. The Israeli Center for Advanced Photonics inscribe FBGs using Ti: sapphire femto second aser and phase-mask PM) technique. According to the PM, the wavelength and bandwidth can be controlled. FBGs array can function as an array of sensors under a single fiber. We can supply FBGs in standard single mode SM) fiber or specialist fiber. Inscription techniques may involve the removal and reinstatement of the fiber’s coating; writing through the coating is optional as well.
